Alex Filipowicz

Alex

Research and research interests

I am interested in the behavioral and neural mechanisms involved with mental model building and updating. I study the features that guide our ability to detect and adapt to changing environments, with a particular focus on how new and surprising events are integrated into existing models. I am also interested in the role of the right hemisphere in updating behaviour.

As of May 1st, 2017, Alex is working as a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Pennsylvania
