Can you infer mental model updating from eye movements?
Hanbin's article (which was much of his master's thesis) has just been published in Attention, Perception and Psychophysics.
The basic conclusion is that you can use eye movement metrics to infer when participants are suprised by on screen events (particularly the saccadic response time), and when they are marking events as requiring them to update an internal model (the dwell time). You can find all the details here.
